St. Bridget's Preparatory Academy - commonly known as The Bridge - enjoys a reputation as one of New York City's finest private educational institutions. Its long history of producing graduates that move forward to Ivy League universities - and from those illustrious schools into privileged and influential lives as some of the country's elite - has made it a staple of New York society. To have a son or daughter attending The Bridge is to be acknowledged as part of the city's enviable upper class (or, in some cases, to be acknowledged as having a child worthy of a scholarship.) The academic program is rigorous, the tuition is understandably high, and the waiting list is years long... but there are ways around everything in this world, and for those willing to do anything for a brighter future for their children, there are avenues.
The doors of St. Bridget's are the gateways to greatness.

St. Bridget's Students;
The students of St. Bridget's are a varied group. The school welcomes teenagers of all nationalities and backgrounds as long as they can pay the tuition and celebrates the diversity in the student body! Granted, most of the students hail from the Upper East Side (or other newly hip parts of Manhattan), so their parents usually possess generously padded bank accounts. But not all the students come from wealthy backgrounds. St. Bridget's does welcome gifted students that may be from less privileged backgrounds on a scholarship basis. These students are held to the same high standard as the rest of their peers - a free ride to one of NYC's most prestigious schools is nothing to be wasted!

Students can't be expected to spend all their time pursuing academics, can they? St. Bridget's offers a wide variety of sports and extracurricular activities to entertain its students, as well as challenge their bodies and minds. |

Anything posted to the threading or communication comm needs to follow the following format. This is to keep things in order and organized, and to make it easy to keep a steady flow going. As we expect a thread-heavy community, we encourage backdating posts to fill in gaps! Just because the game moves forward doesn't mean your pups can't still have their development.
